The sweetest thing

Mckell said the sweetest thing to me today. We were in the kitchen and she said, "Mom, I wish I was you". I asked her why and she said, "Because I love you." It was seriously the nicest thing she's ever said to me EVER in her life! I hope I can remember that moment forever! Other than the occasional tantrum, Mckell doesn't express her emotions very often so it was definitely a tender moment.

Here are some pics from this week..

This is Molly not paying attention while I'm trying to feed her. It happens about three times a day. She is more interested in what the other kids are doing

This week I had the kids make some baskets. It was easy and they loved it! Just some yarn and glue and your good to go!

Welcome back!

I know it's been forever since I've posted. Lately I have been trying to spend a little less time on the computer and a little more time with the ones that I love so much! (And I don't feel like I've got anything to exciting to post about =)) Here's whats new with our family... I got a new calling as a relief society teacher. I absolutely LOVE it! It is my favorite calling so far! Molly is growing big and is now almost seven months old. I can't believe it!! She is finally rolling over and just got two teeth on the bottom. She is by far our most "smiliest" baby. Mckell switched dance studios and has learned so much from her new teacher Miss Bethany. Mckell is getting ready for her recital and is looking forward to wearing mom's makeup. She also loves to draw rainbows and castles and writes all of her letters upside down and backwards (not sure if I should be concerned yet or not). Brigham is obsessed right now with getting strong. At any given time you can find him doing jumping jacks, sit ups and push ups. He often turns down treats because he wants to be healthy. Who's kid is this anyway? He also insists on doing three scientist experiments everyday so he can be smart. What a funny kid!

I don't want to get sappy on you but my heart has been full of gratitude lately. I have an incredible husband, three amazing kids and great friends. I love where I am at this point in my life. I certainly don't have all the material things that I want but I have more than enough of the things I need. I am so blessed. I think about my kids and how important they are to me. I hope that I can make my time with them special. They grow up so fast! I just pray that I will be able to teach them all the things that they need to know. Each day there is so much that I want to get done, I am guilty of rushing through my day trying to check things off my list instead of cherishing the moments we have together. I want to try a little harder to make more time to enjoy my little ones.

Enjoy the pics!

Happy 30th!

I'm not sure what happened here, when I asked the kids they didn't seem to know either... yeah right! Those stinkers

Showing off the guns. Watch out girls!!!
