1st day of gymnastics

Our first theme of the summer was music. The kids had a great time as this is something they haven't previously been exposed to. We read several books about music, we made african drums (sorry no pics of that!) and we went to Aunt Darcie's house for a wonderful music lesson. She did a great job and I am so grateful for the time she spent with them. They learned about all different kinds of instruments.
Brigham is lucky enough to have some of his best friends on his tball team with him.
Right now his favorite position to play is pitcher. He has even made a few good plays! Way to go!!
He's always got his sisters there to cheer him on!
We had so much fun picking up Uncle Jaden from the airport. Since he's been gone, there were 7 new babies born! Jaden is the fun uncle that all the kids love to play with. It is so nice to have him home again!
After the airport, we headed to Taco Amigo. A Pleasant Grove classic!
Oh Molly dear... She has been quite the handful lately. Anything Mckell does, she wants to do. She gives her best effort to imitate each and every move Mckell makes. Molly becomes enraged when she is not in dance clothes and Mckell is. So yes, we have become THAT family that lets there little kid wear dance clothes to Walmart. There are bigger fish to fry people, don't judge! Molly loves coming to the studio with me and showing everyone her splits. She is a riot! We love our Molly bear!
Mckell had her final performance of the year and had a great time! I love to watch her on stage! A few days later she had auditions for next year. It just keeps on going.
Our next theme of the summer was nature. The kids really enjoyed this one. We read several books about nature, we went on a hike, we made nature bracelets and did some flower imprints. Hooray for another fun week!

The kids collected lots of stuff along our way to put on their nature bracelets. By the end we had to carry Molly because she stopped to pick up EVERY leaf she saw.

Brigham had his last soccer game of the season. I am so proud of my little guy, he scored two goals!! Way to go Brigham!!
