Winter?

I don't know about you but I am not looking forward to winter! I am holding on to every last minute of summer. I want to know what you do during the winter to keep your kids entertained so we don't go CRAZY! Send me your best ideas please!

Here are some pictures of our hike last weekend and some pics of the kids.

Family Bowling!

Now that Brigham is two it is fun to take him to do things that he hasn't done before. We decided to take him bowling on Saturday night. He loved it! He had an 8 lb ball which is only one pound lighter than mine (I'm a wimp I guess). When his turn would come up he would carry his ball all by himself then he would say "On your mark, get set, go" then he would push the ball and run away. We never could get him to look back and see how many pins he knocked down, he had the most fun just carrying the ball.
Final scores:
Brigham 67
Jeremy 101
Heather 111 yipee!

Where has the time gone?

OK so I know you have all been dying for me to update my blog, right?! We have just been having so much fun this summer it has been hard to find the time. So here is my best attempt to update you on what we've been doing for the last month. Jeremy has been working hard as usual, I am not sure how he can work outside all day but he does it and he enjoys working with his friends. I have been swamped with choreography, stunt workshops and play dates (many, many, many play dates!) Brigham loves swimming and anything that we do with his friends, and Mckell is now crawling and pulling herself up. Summer is my FAVORITE time of year! There is so much to do and we love it!

Happy 24th!!! I don't know why every year I get so excited to watch the parade on t.v. I never even end up watching it, I guess I just like knowing that it's on. We decided to hike up to Bridal Vail Falls. It was fun and Brigham was in heaven with all the rocks that he could throw. After a couple hours of rock throwing, we sat in the grass and enjoyed some donuts. DONUTS? random I know, but Brigham loved it.

Mckell was worn out from the day. Check out those chubby legs, so cute!

On our way to get fire works...

Before it got dark we decided to hit some golf balls in our front yard. Brigham loves to run after them and bring them back. He swings a lot better than I do!

It turned out to be a great day, we enjoyed hanging out and doing fireworks, or as Brigham says, "Fire............Works..........BAM"

FAMILY REUNION

Every other year we have the Pratt/Haynie reunion. It is always nice to catch up with those that we don't get to see a lot. Brigham was sick for most of the weekend but he did make it to the talent show where he showcased his "round offs" and then cried hysterically when he realised that people were watching.

This is us relaxing after the family service project.

Thanksgiving Point Playdate

We enjoyed a beautiful day at the children's garden. I was so glad that Jaelynn could come with us. They make a cute pair don't you think? The kids loved splashing in the water and crawling through the bear caves. I don't think Brigham noticed any flowers but he did however find EVERY rock!
