Mckell's big day!

Yeah! The time finally came for Mckell to have her eye surgery. We had to leave pretty early in the morning to get to Primary Childrens. Once we arrived my nerves were calmed by the wonderful staff. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and to answer all my questions! Mckell was fine until the anesthesiologist came to take her away, then she cried for me all the way down the hall which pulled at my heartstrings. The surgery only took about forty five minutes and then I got to be there when she woke up. Mckell made sure that I knew everything that happened to her. To say that she did not like her I.V. would be an understatement! As soon as they took it out she was happy and dosed off to sleep. Being at Primary Childrens reminds me of how lucky we are and that stressing about the dumb things in life (what color to paint my bathroom) is not worth it.

California here we come!

I can't believe it has been a month since my last post! Recently we got to travel to California for Jordan and Kayleen's wedding. They are such a cute couple and I'm so happy for them! They got married in the Newport Temple and it was gorgeous. We also went to Disneyland and of course the beach. It was such a relaxing week (except for the car ride there) We had a great time soaking up the sun, going on a bike ride, building a sand castle and staying up late to play games with family.


Yah, we made it!


Bugs Life. Brigham was so scared and he still tells me every day how the "grasspoppers" scared him.

The "crew" at Thanksgiving Point Gardens. We had such a fun day outside enjoying the warm weather.

This is the dress that I made for Mckell at our friends playdate/sewing day. It was a crazy day with a lot of little kids everywhere! Thanks Jessica for hosting. The dress was pretty simple, threading the maching however was a whole other story!
