Family Pics

A few weeks ago we got our family pictures done. All of you moms know how much fun it is to get your family ready for pictures, especially when you have to be there at 8:45 a.m. (Thanks a lot Courtney! J/K) The pictures turned out really well and I love that our family never takes themselves to seriously. We always have fun when we get together. As you can tell by the pictures, Brigham was very happy and LOVED to get his picture taken. He's our little angel! J/K Brigham we love you very much! Sorry Keri, I had to post the picture of Jared and Jaden. I know you love this one! I want to add that I expecially love the picture of Glen and Connie, it is sweet. They look so good together!

Day out with Thomas!

Today we went to see Thomas the train! Brigham is in love with trains and has been looking forward to this day for a long time! Just the two of us went, Mckell stayed with Kristina (thanks so much!) It was cold and rainy and I just couldn't believe that I had to get the winter coats out in MAY. AHHHH this weather is so frusturating! The kids had a blast, they got balloon animals and tattoos and of course the train ride! Brigham is so funny and likes to show everyone his "tat". I just love Brigham so much and it so fun to see him get excited about things.

Dinosaur Museum

Wednesday we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. I just love our neighborhood and all of the great freinds we've made. The museum was fun and although Brigham did get in a fight with another kid (they took turns hitting each other on the head and then screaming for help), we still enjoyed our day out with friends. And yes that is my child trying to climb into the shark display. Gotta love him!

Swimming

Tuesday we went swimming for the first time this winter (let's face it, summer isn't coming this year) We all had a great time and the boys had a blast splashing in the water. They took turns jumping in and seemed to be fearless! Boys will be boys. Mckell enjoyed being outside but preferred taking a nap to swimming. Before we left the house I put sunscreen on Brigham he then wrapped his arms around me and gave me a big hug. We were in a hurry at that point so I decided to put mine on later. Well of course I forgot and when we got home I noticed that my shoulders were burned except for two tiny hand prints, Jeremy and I both got a kick out of it. I am just grateful that it is cold right now so I can wear long sleeves to cover it up!

Week in Review

Here are some pictures from our week, sorry I didn't get any with Eli. He was to busy playing=)

You know that your life has changed when you stop day dreaming about your future hunk and your fabulous life together and start day dreaming about sleeping in past 6:00 am! I think the days need to be longer, I just can't seem to fit everything in. Oh well.

This week was so much fun! We took a field trip to the fire station, had plenty of lunch dates with friends (what would be a week with out it), judged one of the longest competitions of my life and best of all my sister and her husband and kids came for a visit! YEAH!!! I just love my sister so much and although we talk on the phone ALL THE TIME, I only see her like once a year. Thanks for coming to visit sis! My niece and nephews are so cute and so much fun. This was the first time they have seen Mckell in person and she just adored them.

Here is our week in a nut shell. Jeremy got his license and is ready to sell some houses! Brigham has gone to nursery twice now without crying (hoorah!) He also insisted on wearing his firemans hat and "badge" every where we went after our field trip. Mckell has turned into quite the little princess and only stops crying when she is being held, and I milked Mothers Day as much as I could!

What's new with the Haynie's?

OK so I know it's been a while since I have updated my blog. Life is just crazy around here! I'll do my best to catch everyone up to speed. Jeremy is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his realtor's licence. He is looking forward to getting started with something new. I have been really busy judging competitions and tryouts all over the state- it's a busy time of year=). I have also decided to quit coaching. I absolutely love coaching but right now I am just going to focus on doing choreography and "cleaning" routines for different schools. I am very excited about my new adventure. Brigham is hilarious and we love him so much. Every morning he wakes up and wants "jui" (juice) and cereal in a "pup" (cup) and wants to watch a muiee (movie). I keep thinking one of these days he'll change his routine but hey- why change what's working for ya. Brigham has also learned his ABC'S and I catch him saying them to his toys when he thinks no one is watching. Mckell is our chubby baby. Her and Brigham actually wear the same size diapers now. A few weeks ago we pierced Mckell's ears. They look so good. She did really well and hardly cried at all. Brigham on the other hand fell off of the ear piercing chair, landed on his back and cried for ten minutes. Our life is totally crazy and there never seems to be any dull moments, or time to relax. But I wouldn't change it for anything!
