Haynie Happenings

I keep thinking that the end of winter is in sight. I have some major spring fever! Luckily we got to get out a few times this past week. I am so grateful to have wonderful friends that like to go on adventures to!

This is Mckell wearing her gear that grandma and grandpa got her in Peru

This is us at the zoo. Every time we saw an animal Brigham would ask " Does he talk?". I think he sees to many animated animal movies.

The Giraffe was one of Brighams favorites

Oh Mckell, I told her it was time for a nap and she went and got her blanket and went under the table. It took a while to get her out and into her crib.

We had a blast at the safe kids fair. Brigham was so excited when he saw a helicopter!

Mckell has two favorite things in life right now, one is a sucker and the other is going down slides.

Float Master

Jeremy and I were recently named as "float masters" for our ward which means that we get to build the float for the Lehi Parade. We are trying to think of a good idea and we need your help! The general theme is "If I could, I would ..." OK all you wonderful family and friends please give us your best ideas!

Good Times

For some reason I always think that you have to have a picture to update your blog. I'm updating with out a picture so you'll have to actually do some reading! Sorry! Our kids were sick this past week and passed around a stomach bug. Luckily it only lasted a few hours for each child but believe me it was nasty! I had to do about 12 loads of laundry on Monday, fun huh. Lately I have been very busy judging and working with different cheerleading teams. Last weekend I got to judge the Miss Dance Drill Team Utah Pageant and Thayne (from you think you can dance) was one of my judging buddies. I have also been working with UVU cheer on their nationals routine. It's a busy time but I'm having fun! Brigham surprises us everyday with new words and phrases and I'm constantly wondering where he learns half of the stuff he says. A few days ago Brigham told me to "come here". He put his ear to my ear and whispered "I love you mom, you're handsome!" It pretty much melted my heart! Later in the day we bumped into each other and he said "I'm sorry mom, it's your fault." I wish he could be my little guy forever!

I can't believe it's February!

Where does the time go? I know I say that all the time but it seems like life just flies by! I look at my kids and can't believe how much they've grown. A long time ago I got some wonderful advise from a woman in our ward. She told me even though the baby stage is really hard, I should cherish every moment because they grow so fast. Yeah right I thought, I felt like the "baby" stage would never end. She was right though, Brigham is going to pre school this fall and Mckell has a mind of her own now.
Over this past month we celebrated my 28th birthday, had our first annual shake rattle and roll new years eve party, built a snowman, played with our wonderful friends and enjoyed many many many visits to the aquarium, jump on it, and the dinosaur museum. I love playing with my kids and I hope they will always want to play with mom!

Happy Birthday! Yes I realise that I am not 21, those where the only candles we had.

Our wonderful snowman!

The evening is never complete without jumping off the couch in his underwear

Dinosaur museum. Brigham is in love with Dinosaurs right now.

Classic Skating! We had a great time at Kelseys party and Brigham really loved to skate.

Mckell was to little to skate so she insisted on riding a scooter. She is so determined to do everything!

OK this was hilarious! This was Brigham dancing to "Thriller" scary huh?

She loved it!

I had to post this cause I knew my sister would not believe it. This is my mom and yes she did roller skate!
